Dear KFC-
When you advertise Oven Roasted Chicken Strips I naively assumed they would not be covered in FLOUR. So thanks so much for me paying 5.50 for a combo, when all I can eat is the green beans.

Dear Whataburger-
Thank you for getting with the program and allowing me a menu that includes whole wheat buns, bunless hamburgers, and grilled chicken salads.

My day has sucked.

I think I ate too much ww pita bread yesterday I feel bloated. I made pita pizza’s, by splitting the pita’s in half so I could have a thin crust. I ended up eating 2 whole pitas. My reasoning for this was that 2 slices of WW Bread had more cals & sugar than 2 whole pitas…..so I thought I’d be ok. Woke up this morning exhausted and icky feeling.

Hunger

I don’t think I”m eating enough at lunch. This makes 2 days I’m starving. The apples have been cut out and that helped with the hunger between morning snack and lunch. I was good till just now. I ate lunch ate noon, and am hungry again at 2:15. If I eat my snack now-I will not last till 6:30-ish when I normally eat dinner.

I’m not sure what to do.

Had the stuffed bell peppers for dinner last night, they were good, but still a bit too much bell pepper for me. I think next time I’m going to cut them in half and stuff the halves. Kirk liked them, but said he still would have preferred potatoes on top. I let him try my PB/Cool Whip/Fudgsicle combo and he loved that.

Good news-for 2 days in a row my scale has said 180, so I’m down 2 pounds in week 1 Phase 2

B-Kashi Go Lean mixed in with Dannon Lite N Fit Vanilla yogurt, peach, and water

L-Leftover stuffed bell pepper and leftover mock mashed potatoes, water

Don’t think I’m going to have apples any more. They make me hungrier. The peach with the yogurt yesterday was fine for breakfast, but when I had the apple for my afternoon snack I was starving around 5-so I munched on a few soy nuts on the way home.

Today I had my apple as my morning snack and am starving. Hmmm…For lunch I’m going to eat some Chili from Wendy’s and I am counting down till lunch time.

damn apples!

I don’t care what anyone says, but SOY FLOUR PASTA SUCKS MAJOR A$$! Tried it last night because I couldn’t find WW Pasta. It was terrible! My turkey spaghetti sauce was yummy, but the pasta had no flavor and felt like chewy plastic. It was soooooo gross.

My mom had one bite and dumped it out. She ended up putting some sauce on french bread and eating that. Kirk, bless his soul, ate one bowl and the switched to a sandwich like mom’s. NEVER AGAIN.

Yesterday, lunch ended up being a Subway Turkey bacon melt wrap with lots of lettuce, tomatoes, and banana peppers. Then we went & saw Shrek 2(super funny) and I ate roasted chickpeas and water. Then we went shopping and for dinner ate a sirloin and brocolli.

Today I am concerned I might have scheduled too much fruit-let me know if y’all think I need to get something else for my afternoon snack.

Day 2 Phase 2

Yeah me! Went to GNC and stepped on the annoying scale that calls out “Have you checked your weight today” in the mall, which normally I talk back to with a “No, and don’t feel the need to.” I’m wierd I talk to inanimate objects, but whatever. I had to type in all my info-birthdate, height, etc.

Stepped on it and even though I’m still on my period, it the read out was 182.3 which is my 8 pounds-yeah! It then printed that I needed to lose 46.3 pounds-which I think is doable and I’ll be in my target area!

Then I got curious and ran to JCPenney’s and tried on a size 14 jeans-if I wanted to look a bit slutty I could have gone with them, but they were still a bit to tight for my liking-but I could zip the zippers and button the buttons. Then I ran over to career wear section-since most of the time I’m in slacks and business clothes-and I can easily fit into a size 14 of any brand of the slacks!!!!I tried on 5 different pairs-all fit! Yeah me!

Driving back to Corpus today, I hate traveling on this diet

Day 1 Phase 2
OK- I’m eating a cup of the Go Lean Crunch which I know some on the SB boards think is less healthy than the other cereals, but don’t really care cause I like it. I’m pretty full with my one cup, but I might eat an egg or something…..don’t know.

Well, I’m in Houston. Yesterday was kinda crappy when I left work for the drive I went to a grocery store, but couldn’t really find anything portable. So I ended up buying a jar of cashews-ate 10 and thought I was good. Then I got hungry again……….I ate 1/2 of an Atkins low carb bar. Other than having a lot of calories, it was ok, but I’m not going to grab one of those unless it’s an emergency.

I’m doing pretty good today-DAY 14!!Yeah. Traumatized cause Starbucks gave me full fat milk latte and I didn’t realize it until about halfway through the drink I’m only going at night now-I went to college with one of the night guys and he knows why I need this drink. SO now my tummy is crampy and I don’t know if it’s from PMS or the milk.

I was at the grocery store last night and never realized how many different cereals there are! I found the KASHI section-but didn’t know what was allowable, so I didn’t get anything.

Breakfast today was the Dannon’s Lite n Fit Carb Control Vanilla yogurt with water. Some people got on to me at the other boards for getting it, but it has less EVERYTHING than the Fat Free Light Plain stuff I’ve found.
